Ramavarapu "RS" Sreenivas
RS Sreenivas received his B.Tech. in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Madras, India, in 1985. He then pursued his M.S. and Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he studied from 1985 to 1990. After that, Sreenivas went to Harvard University and worked as a post-doctoral fellow in decision and control at what was then the Division of Applied Sciences. After two years at Harvard, he joined the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where he now works as a professor of ISE.
Sreenivas holds research appointments at the Coordinated Science Laboratory and the Information Trust Institute. Additionally, he is an affiliate of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department and an Arthur Davis Faculty Scholar at Illinois.
