Julie Jewell has over 30 years of experience in the information technology and professional services industry. Throughout her career, Jewell has assisted clients globally and across various sectors, including aerospace and defense, consumer and industrial products, technology, telecom, healthcare payer and non-profit.

She currently serves as a talent and organization executive at Accenture, providing her clients with her expertise in change management, communications, talent and skilling to navigate large-scale transformations. Jewell is also actively involved in different communities at Accenture. She leads the South Region Talent & Organization Talent Team, Atlanta Office Women’s Employee Resource Group and serves as a core member of North America A&D T&O practice, where she aids sales and asset development targeted to the A&D industry.

Jewell earned her B.S. and M.S. degrees in general engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1987 and 1992. She also obtained a master’s in business and technology from the University of Georgia in 2016. During her undergraduate studies, Jewell was involved in Greek life, Illini women’s track and field/cross country team, Society of Women Engineers and Illinois Society of General Engineers.

Jewell is originally from Chicago but has lived in Atlanta for 25 years. She is married to Fred, another general engineering graduate (B.S. ’87, M.S. ’89), and they have two adult children. Jewell is a long-time supporter of Habitat for Humanity and has twice served as an annual chair for a local all-women’s build.
