Daniel P. Krueger Scholarship

This scholarship is made possible through a generous donation from Joan and Daniel P. Krueger, past president of the General Engineering Alumni and Industry Advisory Board. Dan received his B.S. degree in General Engineering in 1987 and immediately joined Andersen Consulting, now Accenture. Dan was admitted to the partnership in 2000. His expertise is in the utilities industry and he has been recognized for his accomplishments in the area of power generation. In 1998, Dan was recognized by Gamma Epsilon with the Distinguished Alumnus Award. Dan and his wife, Joan, reside in Hawthorn Woods with their six children. They are lifetime members of the University of Illinois Alumni Association and members of the President's Council and the Dean's Club. 

Criteria:

  • Sophomore, Junior, or Senior
  • Academic Merit & Financial Need
  • GPA between 3.0 to 3.5
  • Preference shall be given to students in a non-technical secondary field who are involved in the Institute of Industrial & Systems Engineering (IISE) and are involved with other extracurricular activities in the Department of Industrial & Enterprise Systems Engineering and/or GCOE as well as civic and volunteer activities
  • Renewable through senior year – 3.0+
