Molly H. Goldstein is a teaching assistant professor and director of the Product Design Lab in ISE's industrial and enterprise systems engineering department. Her research primarily focuses on student designers' trade-off decisions, which involves studying their design actions and thought processes. She frequently collaborates with professionals and educators from various disciplines and contexts.

Goldstein holds a B.S. in general engineering and an M.S. in systems and entrepreneurial engineering from ISE. She earned her Ph.D. in engineering education from Purdue University.

Goldstein has received many awards, including the 2021 Central Illinois Business 40 under 40 award, 2023 Collins Award for Innovative Teaching and 2024 Everitt Award for Teaching Excellence in The Grainger College of Engineering.
