Biography
Heidi Craddock serves as the Director for Undergraduate Programs, Chief Academic Advisor, and Operations Lead in the Department of Industrial and Enterprise Systems Engineering (ISE) at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. With 31 years of dedicated service to the university, Heidi brings a profound understanding of the institution’s culture, values, and operational intricacies to her roles.
Throughout her distinguished career within The Grainger College of Engineering, Heidi has been a steadfast champion for student success and institutional excellence. Her comprehensive administrative expertise spans over two decades of impactful student advising and coaching, successful management of rigorous ABET (for both ISE and Civil and Environmental Engineering) and IBHE academic program reviews, and strategic leadership in student recruitment and major curricular overhauls.
In her capacity as Operations Lead, Heidi supervises the ISE departmental staff, fosters professional development, and ensures strict alignment with university policies. Driven by a strong commitment to STEM education and continuous improvement, she works collaboratively with faculty, staff, alumni, and industry partners to maintain high-quality academic programs and foster an enriching educational environment.
