Losing my phone while studying abroad in Spain, but then finding my two best friends (also UIUC engineers) because of it.

Advice you would give to your freshman college self if you could:
Don't be afraid to ask all the questions on your mind and don't wait until tomorrow to do something you really want to do.

I'm so grateful that I had the ISE department and my IISE family to empower me throughout undergrad. I can't wait to visit for homecoming and EOH!
