Cynthia Richartz

Cindy Richartz works for Abbott, leading the transformation of Facility Management Service delivery globally.  This leadership role is focused on leveraging internal resources and external supplier spend to drive value for our brands, reducing cost, and leverage innovation and industry best practices. This program was implemented at 16 sites across Europe in 2016 and will be deployed to 20 sites across North America before the year end.  Additional areas of expertise include technical support for global real estate strategies and government affairs initiatives. During her 33 years with Abbott, Cindy has held leadership and technical positions in Project Management, Facilities Consulting, Materials Administration, Investment Recovery, Facility and Site Planning, Inventory Management and Sales.  She is currently the Abbott Corporate Member Liaison to the Society of Women Engineers. Cindy earned a BSIE from the University of Illinois, where she is a Life Member of the University of Illinois Alumni Association and serves as the Abbott Liaison to the UIUC SWE Student Chapter.  Cindy and her husband Mike are the proud parents of three children, Dylan, Nate, and Stephanie (BSIE ’15 graduate from University of Illinois).
