Ryan Schermerhorn

Ryan practices intellectual property law at Marshall Gerstein & Borun LLP in Chicago, Illinois.  Ryan drafts and prosecutes both U.S. and foreign patent applications directed to a vast array of technologies, including medical devices, process control valves, regulators, and related equipment and systems, constructed equipment, heavy machinery, navigation control systems, consumer products, dental instruments, shelving, bottling systems, lighting devices, HVAC systems, digital image processing, mobile applications, and injection molding machines and processes. Ryan earned his BSGE from the University of Illinois in 2007 and his JD from the DePaul University of Law in 2010.  Ryan lives in Chicago and is a huge fan of the Chicago Bears, the Chicago Cubs, the Chicago Blackhawks, and, of course, the Fighting Illini.
