Research Statement

Professor Ouyang's research mainly focuses on developing strategic, tactical, and operational models and solution methods for problems that arise in the multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary areas of transportation systems, operations management, network optimization, and logistics systems planning. His research portfolio covers a combination of theoretical research on complex engineering systems and real‐world applications that address high‐priority societal needs (e.g., renewable energy systems, food supply chains, and sensor networks).
